Gospel high-life music is lovely when garnished with the necessary rhythms. Lawrence and Decovenant opens up this year with this classic highlife tune "Carry Me Go." More like a reincarnation of some good old highlife music. The song features Olomi crooner, Tosin Martins and the queen of gospel highlife, Ibitayo Jeje.

This is a thorough mix of High-life beats and contemporary syncopation. This is a must hear for high-life music lovers.

Carry me go'
Born in sin to die, oh oh
You came and rescued me
By your blood, you dey cover my sin
By your grace you dey carry me go(2x).

Your love dey carry me go
Carry me go
Your grace dey carry me go
Carry me go (2x).

Verse 2:
You sent your son to die oh oh
You came and set me free
By your blood, you dey cover my sin
By your grace you dey carry me;
By your love you see me through
By your grace, you dey carry me go.

Back to chorus.

Special part;
You've been faithful lord
From the ages past
That is why your name
Is forever..(2x).

Back to chorus.

Call and response;
Oh, what manner of love
You dey shower on me
Oh what manner of grace
You dey shower on me
Oh what manner of joy
You dey shower me.

Your love dey carry me go,
Carry me go, oh,
Carry me go.

The end..

In April 2015, the xenophobic attacks spread to Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city. Locals were reportedly looting foreigners properties and attacking immigrants in general, forcing hundreds of migrants to relocate to police stations across the country.

The Malawi authorities subsequently began repatriating their nationals, and a number of other foreign governments also announced that they would evacuate their citizens. As of April 19, at least six people have been killed in the attacks, and more than 300 people have been arrested.

Xenophobia in South Africa has awoken some kind of unrest across the globe which has burdened the renowned South African Gospel Artiste, Neville D to STAND UP and SPEAK UP to God and the people of South Africa to say NO to xenophobia as he teams up with other SA recording artistes, Judith Sephuma & Patrick Duncan.

South Africa is better than this. We are all Africans!

''It’s a new era, a new turn in the tides of journey as a nation steeped deep in the ashes of partisanship, corruption, bad governance and a host of other vices.

We mark an end to the reign of terror over Nigeria, we hear the echo of a sound from Judah, the roar of the Lion, declaring the rise of a new sun upon every heart, it’s the day of His power.'' ~ Pst. Chingtok Ishaku & Nathaniel Bassey
