The newest edition adds an exciting twist as musicians will display their talents as well as compete for monetary rewards.

The judges for the event are; Mike Abdul, Korra Obidi , Obiora Obiwon, and Claire Staal.

 To participate, musicians are to follow these four easy steps:-

1. Record a one minute video of their songs (Solo or group acts, and this can be done with a phone camera).

2. Upload the video on -
3. Fill the online form

4. Pay the sign-up fee of #5,000:00 (five thousand naira) only Selection of successful entries will be made by the judges, and the acts will make competitive performances at the venue, the Main Auditorium of the University of Lagos, come January 2015.

Entries closes on 20th, January 2015.

Cash prizes are:-

Winner - #500,000:00 (Five hundred thousand Naira).

1st runner up- #250,000:00 (Two hundred and fifty thousand Naira) only

2nd runner up - #100,000:00 (One hundred thousand Naira) only

Other consolation prizes will still be won by other acts.

In April 2015, the xenophobic attacks spread to Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city. Locals were reportedly looting foreigners properties and attacking immigrants in general, forcing hundreds of migrants to relocate to police stations across the country. 

The Malawi authorities subsequently began repatriating their nationals, and a number of other foreign governments also announced that they would evacuate their citizens. As of April 19, at least six people have been killed in the attacks, and more than 300 people have been arrested.

Xenophobia in South Africa has awoken some kind of unrest across the globe which has burdened the renowned South African Gospel Artiste, Neville D to STAND UP and SPEAK UP to God and the people of South Africa to say NO to xenophobia as he teams up with other SA recording artistes, Judith Sephuma & Patrick Duncan.
