EVENT: Nikki Laoye’s Official Album Listening Party On Saturday, 10th January || @NikkiLaoye

 After a successful year in 2014 with a winning streak of five awards including the AFRIMA award for Best Female Artiste in African Inspirational Music, the award winning singer,Nikki Laoye is set to kick off the new year on a celebratory note.

Hosted by FAB Lounge and Girls Rock Africa in conjuction with top online radio station, PraiseWorld Radio, the singer will be holding an album listening/video release party to officially launch her sophomore album, “The 123 Project (Deluxe Edition)”, this Saturday, January 10,2015.

Nikki Laoye will be celebrating with fans and friends as she also prepares to unveil the visuals for the new album single, “African Dance” featuring her brother/producer, Xblaze.

Celebrity Guests expected to be at the event include DJ Jimmy Jatt, Niyola, Sokleva of the Rooftop Mcs, BaseOne, Mandy the Commediene, Kiki Omeili of the Lekki Wives fame, Sabina of Naija FM, Sammie Okposo, MC Ice of EkoFM, PITA, ONOS, Gaise and many more.

The event holds at the FAB Lounge located on Oduduwa Way in GRA Ikeja by 4pm and it is proudly supported by Wahala Media Entertainment, Praiseworld Radio, Gosporella FM, X2D, HipTV, Spirit of David (SOD), TVC.

In April 2015, the xenophobic attacks spread to Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city. Locals were reportedly looting foreigners properties and attacking immigrants in general, forcing hundreds of migrants to relocate to police stations across the country. 

The Malawi authorities subsequently began repatriating their nationals, and a number of other foreign governments also announced that they would evacuate their citizens. As of April 19, at least six people have been killed in the attacks, and more than 300 people have been arrested.

Xenophobia in South Africa has awoken some kind of unrest across the globe which has burdened the renowned South African Gospel Artiste, Neville D to STAND UP and SPEAK UP to God and the people of South Africa to say NO to xenophobia as he teams up with other SA recording artistes, Judith Sephuma & Patrick Duncan.
